Red Chili Contest Underway

Vote now for your favorite finalist!

In January, Metropolitan Bar & Grill launched a contest encouraging people to submit their favorite Red Chili Recipes for the chance to win a cash prize and spot on our menu. After carefully sifting through the dozens of entries, three finalists were chosen and the voting period has begun!
Stop by as many times as you’d like between now and March 5, and order one of the three finalist Chilis. Each order, whether it be a cup ($4) or bowl ($6), counts as one vote. The Chili with the most votes at the end of the voting period will be deemed the winner.
First prize = $100 and a spot on our menu!
Second prize = $75
Third prize = $50
Now, about those Chilis…
“Not So Texas Red” by Bryan Fagerholt is a hearty chili that includes beef short ribs, pork, beer, dried chilies and pinto beans.
“Mom’s Arkansas Chili” by Dena Carlson helped its creator raise four boys and includes ham, bacon and four kinds of beans.
“Bowl of Red” by Matthew Lorentzen is a meaty chili that includes bacon and beef. This chili does not have beans.
